We proudly stand behind our 30-day return and refund policy. Green Burials accepts returns on most products purchased through our website.
Items Not Eligible for Return
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns on the following items:
- Products that have come into contact with cremated remains
- Custom engraved or personalized products
- Products damaged due to customer handling or misuse
- Items returned more than 30 days after the date of purchase
- Items with acceptable variations in color, shape, or metal texture
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us using one of the methods below:

Note: You must have access to email in order to receive and print the return shipping label.
Return Shipping Instructions
Once you receive your return shipping label, please follow these steps carefully:
- Print the return shipping label
- Package the item securely, preferably in the original packaging
- If original packaging is unavailable, ensure adequate padding and cushioning
- Securely tape the return label to the package
- If reusing the original box, place the return label over the previous shipping label
- Drop off the package at your local post office or carrier location
Please note that returns received in damaged condition due to improper packaging may not qualify for a refund.
How the Refund Process Works
Once your return has been initiated with our customer service team, we will wait for the item to be shipped back and inspected.
After inspection, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original method of payment.
Please allow time for processing, as refunds can only be issued after the item has been received and carefully inspected. Once processed, you will receive a confirmation email.

Refunds & Engraved Items
If an engraved urn contains an error, we will inspect the issue to determine its cause.
If the engraving error is determined to be the responsibility of Green Burials, a refund or resolution will be provided. However, if the error is due to incorrect text or artwork submitted by the customer, we are unable to issue a refund.
We strongly encourage customers to carefully review all engraving details, including spelling, capitalization, dates, and grammar, before submitting their order. While we do our best to identify obvious errors, we engrave exactly what is submitted.
Exchanges
If your item arrives damaged or defective, we will gladly replace it with the same product.
Please note that exchanges cannot be offered for items with acceptable variations in color, shape, or metal texture.

Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. While we provide the return shipping label for convenience, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund amount.
Please note that expedited shipping charges from the original order are non-refundable.
